2. Bora Bora, French Polynesia
This is certainly not the cheapest direction. However, you will be able to enjoy luxurious houses on the water, perfectly blending with the turquoise lagoon.
Moreover, Bora Bora is a real paradise for diving and admiring the coral reef. In addition you will find a volcano on the islands. The original meaning of the island’s name in the local dialect: “created by the gods”. And honestly, they were not far from the truth.
Seychelles – 115 beautiful islands, of which only 33 are inhabited. Moreover, many of these islands have jungles inscribed on the UNESCO heritage list. Most of the island areas are under protection.
Seychelles attracts many fishermen and scuba divers due to the richness of various fish. You will find the best resorts on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.
4 . Palawan, Philippines
Palawan is a Filipino paradise. The greatest attraction in Palawan is the waters with amazing tropical fish, jungles, pristine lakes and fishing villages.
In addition, in Coron you will find stunning resorts, and El Nido will tempt you with nature. From there, you can also go around the islands of the Bacuit archipelago.
The largest attraction here is the Puerto Princesa Underground River National Park – one of the new seven wonders of nature and inscribed on the UNESCO list.
Many people associate Bahamas with cute swimming pigs. Apart from the pigs, however, the Bahamas have to offer the best places for surfing and sailing. You can find pigs on the island called simply Pig Island in the district of Exuma.
If you are tight on a budget, you can spend a cheaper vacation, for example on Elbow Cay, an interesting place, Green Turtle Cay with unique villages. And also Treasure Cay with charming white beaches and blue water.
6. Kaua’i, Hawaii
Kaua’i in Hawaii is also known as the island of gardens. It truly is a tropical paradise with tropical forest that offers breathtaking volcanoes and cliffs.
However, this is one of the rainiest places on Earth, it has several micro-climates. So, be prepared to get wet. The island also has fascinating surrounding waters with coral reef, turtles and unprecedented fish. This does not mean, however, that there are no golden beaches there!
Hanalei Bay offers unfolding views of the cliffs, it is actually best for hiking. Or you can also enjoy the 16 km of Waimea Canyon. The sister islands of Maui and Ohau are also amazing.
7. Wysy Mamanuca, Fiji
Wysy Mamanuca islands are known for many movies filmed there, including “Cast Away: beyond the world” with Tom Hanks.
Fiji is generally over 300 islands, from which the Mamanuca is the best, because it offers both luxury resorts, as well as places for backpackers and cozy hotels for families – in other words, it is for every budget.
For surfers – Cloud-break is one of the best surfing spots in the world here!
8. Whitsunday Islands, Australia
Looking at Whitsunday Islands from a bird’s eye view, an amazing spectacle of colors and shapes of these islands is breathtaking: white beaches, green vegetation, indigo, and blue water.
Whitsunday Islands in Australia are surrounded by the world’s largest Great Barrier Reef, inscribed on the UNESCO list. The most magical beaches in the world, and also one of the cleanest beaches here, White Haven, for example. In total, there are 74 islands, many of them still unoccupied.
9. Similany, Thailand
It was difficult to choose the most beautiful island, because Thailand has a lot of them. We deliberately did not choose the popular Koh Phi Phi and near Maya Bay (known for the film from DiCaprio), because these places are already very famous.
Similany is distinguished by granite rocks like Seychelles and overgrown with dense jungle. The real treasure is hidden under water – the parish is made of tunnels, caves and ravines, and the visibility reaches 30 meters. In this area you can see great fish, turtles, and sometimes even whale shark and manta rays.
Similany has been recognized as one of the most beautiful diving spots in the world and are in top 10 beautiful islands in the world.
10. Bali, Indonesia
Bali is an island where you can lose yourself in the chaotic city of Kuta, go to the magical southern beaches or Nusa Lembongan, in Seminyak surf. Or you can also dive in to a spiritual excitement, and take your family to Sanur. Ubud is the heart of Bali, a cultural center, surrounded by rice fields and beautiful monuments.
In fact, almost every place in Bali has a spiritual meaning. Particularly worth seeing is Pura Luhur Batuaku with more than 10,000 temples on the hills, and also with the spiritual center of the island – Gunung Agung.
