Best Morning Habits
Morning is the most important part of the day. The way you start your day is directly connected with how you will feel the rest of your day. So, here are some tips on how to start your day properly that can be useful for you.
1. Set up your alarm for 10 minutes earlier
One of the best morning habits is to set up your alarm clock for a few minutes before you actually have to get up.
Here the idea is not to steal your precious morning sleep, but to prepare your body to finally wake up.
These 10 mins will not make a huge difference in the amount of your overall sleep. However, they will help you to do a little warm-up, without getting out of bed. Take a deep breath, open your eyes, smile and slowly move from horizontal position to vertical one while taking your time, with no rush.
It is very important because your body was in the same position for hours and you cannot expect it to get energized and ready to go right away. You can also use these several minutes to practice gratitude, think of the things you are thankful for and smile. Scientists found out that when you smile, your brain releases hormones of happiness – endorphins and dopamine, that help you relax your body and feel happier.
All these manipulations will help you to feel better and start your day in a good mood.

He announced the best questions to ask yourself as soon as you wake up. You can do it even while still in bed. Some of the most important questions are:
- What am I grateful for? (you need to come up with an answer here. For example: nice weather, good health, kids, having a job, some situation in life, etc. New different things may come up every day)
- Who do I love? (people you love the most. The answer may also change every day. Because, sometimes, the person you love today may be the person who you did not love yesterday. Your feeling may change of course, and it is important to know who is the most important for you at this time of your life. The answer may really surprise you.)
- What do I want to achieve? What do I want? Where do I want to be?
- How committed am I? (what would you do to achieve your goals? would you sacrifice you time and spend your energy? What are you ready to do to achieve what you want)
Answering these questions, first thing in the morning, will help you to clear up you mind, prioritize your goals, wake your feeling up and give you a great energy to start your day. A healthy lifestyle is a balance. Don’t be one of those people who always panic “Oh no, I’ve missed the work out, I feel awful” or “OMG! I just ate four croissants! I have to fast now!”.
Life is not only about health. Balance is more important when it comes to anything in life. Being healthy is important, being happy is important as well. You are the most important. Listen to yourself.
